From Spa To Night Club: Planning the Ultimate Bachelorette Party
Are you trying to throw the perfect bachelorette party but can't decide between a low-key pamper party or an exciting girls' night out? Why not combine the two to create the perfect all day (and all night) party for the bride-to-be? This is sure to be one last hurrah she will really remember.
Start Mellow
Reserve a day of pampering at a local spa. Make the reservations at least one month in advance to ensure there is staff on hand for all the services you desire. It's also a good idea to pay and tip in advance so the bride-to-be isn't approached for funds. You can keep it simple with just a manicure and pedicure, or you can go for the full glamor treatment—facials, waxing, and skin treatments, followed by getting your hair and makeup done. There's no better way to get ready for an exciting night out.
Arrange for Transportation
The idea is to go right from the spa to the party. The best way to do this is to charter a party bus. You won't have to worry about a designated driver, since a driver is provided, and you can continue the festivities between destinations.
Make your reservations at least two months in advance. Party buses are generally chartered by party size, so give as accurate of a head count as you are able. Next, you will need to choose your amenities. This includes music choices and the addition of a bar. Keep in mind, in most states alcohol is only allowed if all riders are over the legal age limit. You will also need to work out a basic route with your driver ahead of time.
Hit the Hot Spots
Hopefully you know the bride-to-be well enough to pick out the best bars and clubs to fit her personality. Not all bachelorettes are comfortable visiting establishments with male dancers or drinking from straws shaped like private body parts. The goal is for the future bride to have fun, so skip the traditional naughty stuff if it will make her uncomfortable. Look for bars that offer fun activities in addition to drinking. A few ideas include the following:
-
Dance clubs
-
Karaoke nights
-
Trivia nights
-
Pool, darts, or other bar games
Of course, male dancers are allowed if that's what the bride-to-be wants!
A Safe Ending
After a day of fun topped off by a night of drinking, the final goal is to make sure everyone gets home safely. If you opted for a party bus rental, your driver can deliver everyone safely to their doorstep. Alternatively, arrange to stay the night at a hotel or at one person's house, so no one has to drive until morning. You want to party with your friend before she gets married, but you also want to keep her safe until her wedding day.
